Vancouver, Canada - Tinka Resources Limited (the “Company”), (TSXV:TK) (Frankfurt:TLD) (OTCPK:TKRFF), is pleased to announce that the Company has appointed Mr. John Nebocat (P.Eng.) to the position of Vice President Exploration. Mr. Nebocat has been working with the Company as an independent technical consultant since 2003.

Mr. Nebocat graduated from the Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology, Butte, Montana with a BSc. Geological Engineering (Honours) in 1984. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia and also the Geological Association of Canada. Since 1993 Mr. Nebocat has operated as private consultant to various junior resource companies with experience in Peru, Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, Mexico, Sweden, Finland and Canada. Prior to this he worked for the B.C. Department of Mines & Petroleum Resources and Newmont Exploration of Canada Limited
